Recall Options
 

The Recall tab of Clinical Options is where you manage user-defined recall reasons, which can be used when you;

Access to Options is provided via user permissions.

Adding Recall Reasons

1.      Select Tools > Options. MedicalDirector Clinical Options appears.

2.      Select the Recall tab. The list of recall reasons is presented.

 

3.      Click Add  The Add Recall Reason window appears.

 

4.      Enter a name/description for the recall reason you wish to add.

5.      Modify other settings as desired, Note that these settings are simply the defaults for this recall reason, which can be overridden when you go to create a new Recall for the patient.

o      Recall Interval: How often the Recall should occur, when it is used for recurring Recalls (as opposed to once-off Recalls).

o      Sex at Birth Restriction: Whether the Recall reason's availability is limited to a specific sex at birth.

o      Age Range Restriction: Whether the Recall reason's availability is limited to a specific age group.

 

6.      Click Save to confirm. You will be returned to the Recall tab, where your new recall reason is now listed.

Deleting Recall Reasons

1.      Select Tools > Options. MedicalDirector Options appears.

2.      Select the Recall tab. The list of recall reasons is presented.

 

3.      Locate and select the Recall reason you wish to delete.

4.      Click Delete  You will be prompted to confirm this action.

5.      Click Yes to confirm. You will be returned to the Recall tab.

6.      Click Cancel to exit Options.

Modifying Recall Reasons

1.      Select Tools > Options. MedicalDirector Options appears.

2.      Select the Recall tab. The list of recall reasons is presented.

 

3.      Locate and select the Recall reason you wish to edit.

4.      Click Edit  The Add/Edit Recall Reason window appears, displaying the settings for the reason you selected.

 

5.      Modify settings as desired. Note that these settings are simply the defaults for this recall reason, which can be overridden when you go to create a new Recall for the patient.

o      Recall Interval: How often the Recall should occur, when it is used for recurring Recalls (as opposed to once-off Recalls).

6.      Click Save to confirm your changes. You will be prompted to confirm this action.

7.      Click Yes to confirm. You will be returned to the Recall tab.

8.      Click Cancel to exit Options.
