Practices must now upload a shared health summary for a minimum of 0.5% of their Standardised Whole Patient Equivalent (SWPE) count per quarter. EHealth changes
  • My Health Record
    • Rebranding of Personally Controlled Electronic Health Record (PCEHR) to My Health Record in accordance to the Australian Digital Health Agency changes.
  • Clinical Usability Programme (CUP)
    • Amendments to eHealth documents such as Shared Health Summary, Event Summary, Specialist Letter and eReferral to comply with latest Australian Digital Health Agency guidelines.
  • Pathology and Diagnostic Imaging
    • Introducing the capability to view pathology and diagnostic imaging reports from a patient's My Health Record.
  • Single name
    • Patients with a single name can now access and upload to the My Health Record.
  • View My Health Record record
    • A patients My Health Record can be now be accessed by all users who 'Participate in My Health Record' but do not have an HPI-I number.
    • One-click access to see a patient's latest Shared Health Summary is now available
Improved Prescription Safety Alerts
  • When prescribing schedule 8 medications, a safety alert will now be displayed asking if the patient is legally drug dependent or requires an authority/permit from your State/Territory pharmaceutical services unit
Concurrent access to the same patient file
  • Users can now modify the patient's current Consultation note or Immunisations even if the patient record is opened on another computer.
  • Improving patient record sharing by providing the option to easily obtain full access to the patient file (based on your MD security permissions) from the person who currently has full access, without the need to close the patient file.
New clinical features
  • Medications and Allergies
    • Alignment with standardised Therapeutic Good Administration (TGA) drug ingredient names for medications and allergies.
  • K-10 Assessment
    • Ability to measure psychological distress using the Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K-10) which focuses on the signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety.
Enhancement to existing functionalities
  • Recalls and Reminder
    • Improvements have been made to the Recall/Reminder systems, including features such as hiding 'unknown' users and displaying inclusive dates on date range selection.
  • SMS
    • A new default template without recall reason is now available.
    • Single-click access of a patient's SMS log
  • Visit type enhancements
    • Ability to set a default Visit Type per user
    • Improved the workflow on changing/selecting Visit Type
  • Messenger
    • New functionality to filter messages according to date sent/received.
