Introduction

This guide is an overview of using Jayex Patient Self Check-In Kiosks with Pracsoft.

With a Jayex Patient Self Check-In Kiosk at your practice, patients can check themselves into your Pracsoft Waiting Room via the Kiosk when they arrive. The Pracsoft Appointment Book will flag the patient as ‘Waiting’, and they will automatically be added to Pracsoft’s Waiting Room.

The following requirements must be met take advantage of Jayex Patient Self Check-In Kiosks with Pracsoft:

o      Your practice has a Jayex Patient Self Check-In Kiosk.

o      A minimum of MedicalDirector Pracsoft “3.15.3a Jayex”

Managing Patients on the Kiosk

The Jayex Kiosk includes behind-the-scenes software for managing patient check-ins. This software is installed on your workstation computer, and is not available to your patients.
