A Statement of Claim and Benefit is provided to the claimant when a patient claim has been lodged in real time, processed by the agency and a benefit amount returned to the claimant.

How the Report is Defined

The report is made up of invoiced amounts claimed from the Medicare and actual benefits paid.

How to Generate the Report

1.      While viewing the Medicare Online Claims window in Practice Explorer, either;

o      Click

o      Press Ctrl + P

o      Select Reports > Print

The Print Report window appears.

2.      Select Medicare Australia Statement of Claim and Benefit  from the Medicare category in the list of available reports, and click

3.      Click when you are ready to continue. You will be prompted to select print options for the report. Note that you will have to choose the printer and tray the first time you print this report, on each computer. Thereafter Bluechip will remember your settings.
