The Gestation Calculator allows the calculation of EDC (Estimated Date of Confinement) from either the LMP (Last Menstrual Period) or the date on an Ultrasound scan. Note that Save is disabled for patients 55 years and older.

Gestational age can be calculated by:

o      Selecting the By LMP option, and then selecting a date from the calendar. The Gestational Age will be calculated automatically, or

o      Selecting the By Scan option (as shown in the image above), and then selecting a date from the calendar. You can then enter values for estimated Weeks and Days as derived from the scan, after which you must click to update the figures.
