The Clinical licensing system requires a separate licence for each full-time practitioner in the clinic. The following definitions clarify the difference between prescribers, locums and other users.
Prescriber: Each full-time practitioner must be covered by a software Licence to use Clinical.
Locum: A maximum of two locums is allowed. A locum record should be removed once a practitioner returns to work.
User: There is no limit to the number of non-clinical users that can be recorded in Clinical.
To obtain a licence for additional practitioner(s) or to reduce the number of licensed practitioners and obtain the new licence number, contact MedicalDirector Sales. The number of licensed prescribers can be seen at the top of the User Database window. To change your licence details, see Changing Your Clinical Licence Details.
