Due to limitations of the Omron T9P device, Clinical is unable to differentiate between recordings made for different patients. Therefore before transferring recordings to a patient record, you must ensure that all the recordings within the Omron T9P device are recordings for one single patient. You must also ensure before making a recording for a new patient, you clean the device memory. Failure to do so will transfer recordings made for any previous patient as well as recordings for the current patient.

Performing a Test in Clinical

1.      Select Tools > Tool Box > Blood Pressure from the patient's Clinical window. The Blood Pressure tab appears.

2.      Click to use the Omron T9P to record values. The Available BP Monitor Machines window is displayed if more than one device is installed. Select the device you wish to use from this window.

3.      Conduct the examination.

4.      Close the BP Instruction window. The test data is imported into the Blood Pressure tab in Clinical.
