When recording a visit on behalf of a practitioner who has elected to use GST, the Record Visit window calculates and displays GST-inclusive fees automatically. However, there may be times when you wish to modify the fee. In such circumstances, you will need to instruct Pracsoft to recalculate the GST, as explained below.

1.      Ensure the practitioner for whom you are recording a visit has been registered to claim GST.

2.      Begin the process for recording a visit.

3.      To modify a fee, first change the GST rate to $0.

4.      Then modify the actual fee to the new GST-exclusive amount you wish to charge.

5.      Now replace the GST rate (by default, 10%).
