This tool produces a summary of a practitioner's prescribing pattern. The Prescription Summary window displays the number of scripts printed between the chosen dates, the number of patients who had scripts printed during that period and the average number of scripts printed per patient. It also displays the average number of items printed on each prescription.

Below this, appears a list of all medications prescribed during that period. For each item, the number of prescriptions printed, the number of repeats ordered and the total number of prescriptions and repeats given is displayed.

To Perform a Prescription Summary Search:

1.      From the Clinical Front Screen, select Clinical > Prescription > Summary. The Script Summary window appears.

2.      Select the search criteria and then click   The Prescription Summary Results window appears.
