Within the patient's record, locate and click at the top of the window. The Medication Precautions form appears.

Note that if the patient has already got one or more precautions recorded, they will be listed at the top of their record instead, as in this example:

To indicate that you wish to be notified of any precautions regarding this patient when prescribing, tick one or more of the following check boxes.

Later, if you attempt to prescribe something the patient may have a reaction to, you will be alerted accordingly. Red indicates highest severity, followed by orange, and then yellow.
