Practices can now directly access and submit screening data to manage patient participation in the national bowel and cervical screening programs within MedicalDirector Clinical, through the National Cancer Screening Register (NCSR). The NCSR enables a single electronic record for each person participating in the National Cervical Screening Program and National Bowel Cancer Screening Program and provides a national electronic infrastructure for the collection, storage, analysis and reporting of screening program data.
