ECLIPSE Billing Changes for GU Health Fund

15 October, 2024

Grand United Corporate Health Limited (GU Health) will soon update their ECLIPSE Fund Brand ID, which will require a change to your software configuration.

What’s changing?

From Tuesday 15 October 2024, GU Health will close the existing GU Health Fund Brand ID (‘FAI’).

From this date, you must submit all ECLIPSE claims and patient eligibility checks for GU Health members through the NIB Health Fund Limited Fund Brand ID (‘NIB’).

This will bring GU Health in line with other NIB partner brands, which share the same Fund Brand ID.

This does not change how you submit claims, complete eligibility checks or how claims are adjudicated for GU Health members.

Rates will remain unchanged for all GU Health networks, including GU Health Medical Gap network.

What do I need to do?

To ensure continuity in ECLIPSE claims processing for medical and hospital providers servicing GU Health members, please update the Fund Brand ID for GU Health effective 15 October.

How to make this change in Bluechip

1. Ensure all pending IMC/IHC Claims for GU Health have been submitted

2. Update the IMC Insurers to ensure NIB is added and up to date

2a. Select Setup > Practice > Batch Types > Select Eclipse IMC from the batch type and click Configure ECLIPSE – IMC

2b. Select the IMC Insurers tab

2c. Once the update has completed, select Close then OK

3. Select File > Open > And choose the Health Funds list

4. Locate and Open GU Health

5. Set the Fund ID to NIB – NIB Health Funds

6. *Optional: You may also wish to update the Health Fund Name to Grand United Corporate Health Limited

7. Save and Close the GU Health company details

Important Note:

This update should be made on Tuesday 15 October.

If the update is not made on 15 October, providers will encounter the following error code and message:

9672 — Your Fund information is out of date. Please update your Fund list and resubmit.
