Bookings

The Bookings window allows you to quickly see the appointments schedule for your patients, without having to search the Appointment Book. You can also use the Bookings window to create new appointments, or to edit, reschedule, cancel or delete appointments between specified dates.

1.      Open the record of the patient whose bookings you wish to view. The Patient Explorer appears.

2.      Select Bookings from the Margin Menu. The Patient Bookings window appears.


All bookings that have been made for the patient are displayed, with the latest booking highlighted.

 

o      To create a new booking, click . This initiates the New Appointment Wizard from which you can create a new single or recurring appointment.

o      To edit or reschedule a booking, click  This initiates the Edit Appointment Wizard.

o      To cancel a booking, select the booking that you wish to cancel and then click  You will be prompted to confirm this action. The cancelled booking will remain in the list but appear with a black strike-through. Note that whilst cancelled bookings are still visible from the Bookings window, their corresponding entries in the Appointment Book are removed entirely.

o      To delete a booking, select the booking that you wish to delete and then click  You will be prompted to confirm this action. The deleted booking is removed from both the Bookings window and the Appointment Book. You can show deleted bookings by ticking the associated check box. Deleted bookings are displayed with a red strike-through.
